Presidential Address

PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS
The Presidential Address is typically given on the Saturday evening of the CEA Annual Meetings by the current president of the Canadian Economics Association.  The lecture topic is published each year in the conference programme and the corresponding paper is normally published in the November issue of the Canadian Journal of Economics. 


The 2023 lecture was  given by David Green (University of British Columbia): Basic Income and The Labour Market: Labour Supply, Precarious Work, & Technological Change 

 

 


The 2022 lecture was  given by Francisco Ruge-Murcia (McGill University): How do Central Banks Make Decisions?
