Presidential Address

PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS
The Presidential Address is given on the Saturday evening of the CEA  Annual Meetings by the current president of the Canadian Economics Association.  The lecture topic is published each year in the conference programme and the corresponding paper is typically published in the November issue of the Canadian Journal of Economics. 

 

The 2019 lecture was given by Angela RedishTreaty of Paris vs Treaty of Niagara: Rethinking Canadian Economic History in the 21st Century

 

The 2020 address will be given by M. Scott Taylor (University of Calgary) at the CEA 2020 annual meetings.
