Robert Mundell Prize
The Canadian Economics Association awards the Robert Mundell Prize of $2000 to the "young" author or authors of the paper judged to be the best paper published in the Canadian Journal of Economics in the previous two calendar years.
Winner 2021The winners of the 2021 Mundell Prize are Maren Froemel and Charles Gottlieb for their paper “The Earned Income Tax Credit: Targeting the poor but crowding out wealth", published in February 2021 (Volume 54, Number 1). |

Winner 2021The winners of the 2021 Johnson Prize are Donna Feir and Christopher Auld for their paper "Indian Residential Schools, Height, and Body Mass Post-1930” and Federico Ravenna and Marcus Mølbak Ingholt for their paper "T he impact of inflation targeting: Testing the good luck hypothesis”, both published in February 2021 (Volume 54, Number 1). |
