HOW TO HOST A FUTURE CEA ANNUAL MEETING
If your university is interested in hosting a Future CEA Annual Meeting, please send a letter of intent to CEA Secretary, Professor Ana Ferrer at firstname.lastname@example.org. The CEA strives to move the annual meeting across Canada with a typical rotation among the major cities of Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver. However, locations outside of this rotation are selected as well. The Future Meetings Committee of the CEA Board of Directors will review proposals each year and provide a recommendation to the Board of Directors for approval.
A local organizer is approved by the CEA Board of Directors and receives support in the form of a course release, research funds, or stipend with a maximum amount set by the CEA Board of Directors. Administrative support will also be provided. Host Universities are also encouraged to contribute support to the local organizer and to the local organization.
