For bulk conference registration, please contact the CEA Office (office@economics.ca) Registration fees can only be paid by credit card using our CEA association management system. We do not accept other types of payments during advance registration. Specifically, we do not accept cheques (government or personal), purchase orders, or registrations by fax for individuals. Those unable to use government/company credit cards online will need to use their own personal credit card to register and then submit to their employer a claim for reimbursement. Invoices are available in your CEA profile. We make refunds subject to a $100 processing fee until and including May 4, 2026. No refunds will be made after that date. Early-bird rates are available until May 4, 2026. Registration opens February 1, 2026. This is the registration page for the CEA 2026 conference. For conference details, programme highlights, and local information see the CEA2026 home page. The local host is the Department of Economics at Simon Fraser University (SFU). The programme chair is Professor Paul Beaudry (University of British Columbia). The local organizers are Professor Steeve Mongrain and Professor Kevin Schnepel. The online sessions will take place on Friday, May 22nd, 2026. The CEA Embrace Day special events & workshops will be held again in-person on Thursday May 28th (all registrants can attend). Regular contributed in-person sessions will take place from May 29th and 30th, 2026 at SFU. All in-person registrations include the online session day on May 22, 2026 as well.
